Oregon Soccer Club is in the process of initiating a series of fundraising programs aimed at reducing the cost of competitive player soccer fees.
Due to a recent court ruling involving the IRS vs. a non-profit booster club, all of our fundraising programs must be set up to profit the club, as opposed to individuals. Therefore, we have had to change our previous Kwik Trip Scrip Card program slightly to become compliant with this new court ruling. We will continue the Kwik Trip Script Card program, however now all profits will be applied to directly reduce to cost of playing competitive soccer in Oregon, instead to individual family accounts.
The first program will be the reinstatement of the Kwik Trip gift card - if you buy gas at Kwik Trip, you can buy these cards and use them directly to purchase gas and other items at Kwik Trip stores. Oregon Soccer will receive a return of 10% on all cards purchased by Oregon Soccer families. There is no additional cost to you - the full amount you use to purchase the card can be used for store/gas purchase.
Note that if you ordered cards before, prior to December, the return for those will still be credited to your player's account.
Contest! We will be having a contest to see which team can raise the most money for Oregon Soccer. When ordering cards, you can specify a team name of your child, or of one of your children. The team who accumulates the highest dollar total through Feb. 28, 2014 will receive a pizza party from Oregon Soccer.
